Each item includes a 2-hour Socratic discussion in high quality .mp3 audio, plus complete discussion notes in PDF format, which include historical context, major structural and stylistic elements, and a completed story chart. (Listen to a sample recording here.) Written instructions for using the recording to measure student progress are included, so you can get the most from each session.

We recommend including the Introduction to Literary Reading session with each purchase, as it explains the CenterForLit approach to literature and Socratic discussion, which is assumed by the teachers in each session.
